If your home’s foundation is no longer level you’ll notice problems like sloped floors and doors and/or windows that stick. We can re-level the foundation using heavy duty steel push piers.
Have a construction project that needs a deep foundation? Helical piers – which are shaped like corkscrews – are both easier to install and less expensive than traditional concrete piers.
Structures erected on hillsides sometimes experience problems with foundation instability caused by soil erosion. This happens when the soil under the structure eventually finds its way down to the bottom of the hill. We can re-stabilize the foundation by drilling concrete piers deep down into the bedrock.
Sunken concrete slabs such as sidewalks, pool decks, and driveways are both a safety hazard and a liability issue. Concrete slabs can sink for a variety of reasons include expansive soil, invasive tree roots, and problems with drainage. We can easily re-level sunken concrete via a minimally-invasive procedure known as ”slabjacking”. This involves injecting a polyurethane foam under the slab in order to lift it back up. It’s less expensive than replacing the slab, and you can walk on it immediately after the repair is complete.
Crawl Space Screw Jack Replacement
There are times when a home will have signs of foundation settlement even though there’s no problem with its foundation. This is most frequently caused by deteriorated screw jacks or settled support posts in the crawl space. We can repair this problem by using the existing pier locks and then removing/replacing the screw jacks or posts. The floor can then be lifted up again.
Most of the time a problem foundation can be repaired. However, every once in awhile – for one reason or another – it’s simply not cost-effective to repair a foundation. We do both full and partial foundation replacement.
