Foundation Leveling

Signs of an unlevel foundation include sloped floors and doors and windows that don’t open as easily as they once did. In this case we will use heavy duty steel push piers to re-level your foundation.

Helical Piers

Helical Piers are an excellent choice if your project needs a deep foundation. They are less expensive than traditional concrete piers and the installation is fast and easy.

Drilled Concrete Piers

If your home is built on a hillside, you are at risk of foundation destabilization caused by soil erosion. The soil under the foundation slowly makes it’s way down hill leading to problems such as sloped floors, doors and windows that stick, etc. We fix this by drilling concrete piers into the bedrock to re-stabilize your foundation.

Polyurethane Foam Injection

Sunken concrete walkways, including sidewalks, pool decks, and driveways, are signs of an unlevel foundation. As you well know, it is important to fix these problems fast as they can quickly escalate into a safety and liability issue. In this case, re-leveling the concrete is done by “slabjacking”.  This is when we inject a special polyurethane foam under the slab to lift it back up, which will quickly re-level uneven concrete

Crawl Space Screw Jack Replacement

There are times when homeowners notice signs of settling even when their foundation is perfectly secure. If this is your case, this is usually caused by deteriorated screw jacks or the settling of support posts in the crawl space. Luckily, this is an easy fix. To lift the floor back up we will use the existing pier locks to remove / replace the posts or screw jacks.

Foundation Replacement

The good news is that most foundations don’t require a full replacement. Although for a variety of reasons, there are instances where a foundation cannot be repaired. For either case, you are in good hands. Our expert team at Bay Area Underpinning has years of experience under our belt with partial and full foundation replacements.
